• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

ROTFLMFAO

That's when you bust out the model release form and say if you don't sign this right now, you are going to have to leave me alone.

HAHAHA

That's funny. I've never came across anyone quite like that.

WTF Well that looks like it's coming thees way. That last part is funny. It even sounds like he's trying to sound that odd.

What is funny is to keep clicking on the bar right where he says, his second " well that looks like it's coming this way..." and getting it to play that part over and over.

I've been real lucky....no "Deliverance" experiences in 11 years. Hopefully that trend continues.

Oh man, that guy was freakin crazy and hilarious! I don't know why I tried explaining the storm to him. He was convinced that last tornado was moving southwest towards us! I think Reed handled it best by telling him we were storm spotters...he probably would have been confused with the term "storm chaser". To this day I get a good laugh watching that video.

The first thing u have to do is pause the video at the beginning and get a good look at the farmer/local before you play it lol.

My favorite part is at the 30 sec mark where he goes from asking "what makes the clouds so white" to having a complete brain overload and starts rambling like a hungary chicken :P I think he says "Which way from Portland/Portsmith(or something)? Which way from Manchester? Which way from the North-South below Louis?" I might not have translated what he said correctley but its close. Also I counted 11 questions asked during that film lol.

We should start a thread about our craziest run-ins with locals.. I have had a few I will never forget. From the barb-b-que hillbillies in shamrock to this guy in kansas thattried to make us leave his town because we "caused" severe wx to hit it when we show up.
