Wow. Just when you thought you'd seen it all, all you have to do is just look toward some new tv production and you'll realize you haven't seen anything. LOL.

BTW, I wonder why they didn't just shoot for an 18 year old, considering the aim of this? Maybe they really do want a little experience and education to go along with a smoking hot package, hence the age 25 requirement?

OK, so which one of you Stormtrack hotties is going to apply? Hehe. I am sure the first who applies that meets the basic requirements and also happens to have a nice figure and a pretty smile will be hired on the spot. Then you can get yourself on TV!

BTW, since Paris Hilton doesn't have a background in meteorology or storm chasing, I guess she won't be considered.

ROTFL.... I'm OUT! I did the St Baldrick's Children's Cancer Fundraiser 3 weeks ago and are short of hair. You get people to sponsor you for shaving your head and the donations go to children's cancer research.
So I think I am at almost 1/2" long now!
Plus I am a bit "mature" for their requirements.
Oh well. :D

Yeah I got baited too. I feel so gosh darned special!

I just emailed them back and told them what I generally thought of generally storm-chasing-related teevee shows in general that have been produced over the past 5 years.

That seemed to get them off my back. LOL.

I would jump at the chance to be involved in research, to be asked to forecast for, to lead a photography expedition or to provide written chronology of chases. But, somehow, the "we need a 'bit o' stuff' to tag along so that our gang isn't all guys and oh by the way we need to vet you photographically too before hiring you sweetheart" slant is NOT one that will entice me to want to participate. 15 minutes of fame as a bimbo in the background getting pats on the head now and again for being so patient on such a boring trip with three others guys isn't how I want to spend my chase vacation.

I am suprised they didn't get you to email your 'stats' through as well just in case they need you to wear a branded vest and tiny shorts!

I would ask for their photos as well I mean you wouldn't want to be seen out with a load of freaks either....

I guess I could try cross dressing and apply... would that work? When Sean says medic though I hope they get one of those naughty nurses ;)

Naughty, but a little nice too....the company is going to have Josh and I choose between the two finalists in CO. I was thinking about setting up an improptu cage fighting ring and let the two ladies have at it. Who am I to judge? Better to let Darwin decide these types of matters.

I'm wondering...did anyone on the board apply for this?

Sean, I'm sure we're all gonna see this on the Discovery Channel eventually...haha do us a favor and pick someone intelligent and not just someone nice to look at :-). There are a lot of really intelligent female chasers/mets/weather enthusiasts who could probably contribute something meaningful to your documentary other than just good looks.

I want to make it clear that it's not my show but that I'm a mere pawn. But if I do have any influence in the decision then I'd pick someone who I like, as I will be around them for the next two months. But given the predetermined choices I'd be happy with someone who would be level headed enough in times of stress not to do something foolish. But how can one determine that?

I just hope that no one gets hurt as there are going to be quite a few newbies out with us and I have a feeling that this is going to be a particularly dangerous year.

Interesting thread. Susprised to hear that a lot of newbies will be on board. If someone does get hurt, there will be one heck of a lawsuit filed...regardless of waivers. Waivers really don't mean anything when you're suing someone. And from my experience in the forensic business, when a lawsuit is filed, they tend to sue just about everyone they possibly can. Hopefully no one will get hurt, everyone will be smart about what they do and people can enjoy some good storms. My $0.02.
