• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Are you a fearless adventurer?

If you answered YES to one or more of these questions, we want to to hear from you!!!

All candidates MUST be in excellent physical condition, between the ages of 25 and 35, able to lift heavy objects, and comfortable driving under extreme weather conditions.
Storm chasing team will be filmed for television series for a major cable network.

Anyone applying MUST be available from April 16-June 9. This is a PAID position.

If interested, please email your photo, and detailed cover letter to:

[email protected]

and be prepared to send a short demo video.

Mike, didn't you post a shot someplace with you and some blonde chasing with you? :D She may be interested! ;)

You mean me and Pam? lol! She'd probably pass this "excellent shape" thing and the photo and video parts.

"female energy" and "to keep us sane".

Hmmm , I wonder what they mean by that?

"Are you willing to drive thousands of miles until you see the BIG one?"

Hmmm, the "BIG one"?

Haha if you guys want I can inquire nd post what they say on the board, but I'm too young for their age range and not interested in going on TV :-)...though personally to me it sounds like they want a woman to do all their behind-the-scenes dirty work which to me sounds a bit silly

MAJOR CABLE TV DOCUMENTARY SERIES

I bet it's a National Geographic Production of some sort.

Do a google search on some of the keywords in the ad, all of them point to NGC.

Yes, we need a mole to go undercover... get us the scoop.

And this tells us what exactly?

IMDB or Internet Movie Data Base is a reference tool for people in the TV and Movie business for which any company that actually does production work will be listed on.

Since there listed on IMDB, it shows what they have worked on in the past and people can call for business references.

Kind of like a film credits resume of sorts.

It shows they are a real production and casting company and not some chaser pervo.

Well since it said docu production, I doubt it is the same thing as the other thing that I'll call "The Big Chase Race".

Yes I just made that name up for Mike H to make fun of.
