• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

National Storm Chaser Convention **Official Thread**

If anyone is coming in early and interested in some skiing, drop me a PM or reply in this thread. I will likely be at Breckenridge Thursday and Loveland Friday.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you at the convention.

Need ride north on Sunday

I am looking for someone at the convention who could give me a ride to somewhere on the northern side of Denver (e.g., Longmont, Loveland, Boulder) after the conference ends at noon Sunday. I would be glad to contribute to gas/lunch.

If interested, please pm me.

Thanks...Tom

Argh! :(

I've come down with the most godawful flu and simply can't imagine driving up to Denver tomorrow. Even if I had the energy, I'd not want to infect everyone.

I've pre-paid the registration, which is apparently non refundable.
It doesn't say anything about non-transferable!

If any late arrivals would like to go in my place, please PM me. I'll offer a discount!

Thanks

I think it's important to note that the page I brought up with Greg's announcement that he can't go due to flu had an advertisement for "Quarantine", the movie!

Greg, sorry you can't make it, but at the same time, thanks for not coming while sick!
Hope you feel better soon.

Just thought I would let all ChaserCon travelers know about road conditions:
KS 70- mile marker 50 and road conditions have turned ugly real fast, blowing snow and ice covered....please be careful if you choose this route.

Currently, I am on Spotternetwork

My wife and I drove in yesterday from Minneapolis. I'm sure glad we did the long drive in one day instead of two as planned. We had sunny and mid to upper 40s all along I-80 through Nebraska. Radar paints a scary drive at the moment in that region. Good luck to all driving it and be safe.

Goto to Severestudios.com right know to check out the live feed from the convention. They are doing interviews with people from the convention.
