• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Jim Reed will be appearing on Good Morning America tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 18, to discuss his newest book, "Storm Chaser: A Photographer's Journey" published by Harry N. Abrams.
I got an email about this this morning and I figured I would pass it along to anybody who wants to see it. I'll have to set my DVR to record it because I'll be at work, but I definitely want to see it.

Do you by chance know around what time he will appear?

Edit: Never mind I found the answer in the other thread regarding this book
I just found out that Jim Reed will be on Good Morning America on Tue, Dec 18 to discuss "Storm Chaser: A Photographer's Journey" with ABC chief meteorologist Sam Champion. Always nice to see storm chaser interviews. I think the show goes from 7 to 9 AM but check your local listings.

If you want to get a copy for Christmas, you better act fast.

The ICT Borders locations, both B&N's, and Watermark are all sold out.

The same is true with the Borders and B&N's in KC.

Amazon still has copies.

Yeah I made the mistake of driving to Omaha yesterday to see if I could get one. Wasn't finding it in Borders so went to B and N's, didn't find it so I asked. They looked and said it was sold out in all their Omaha stores.

Just wanted to say congrats to Jim on an excellent book. I really enjoy it and it is a perfect coffee table type of book for any of us WX Weenies. It's getting great reviews too and it also sounds like it is selling quite well!

Well a copy of this book managed to find it's way into my Christmas stocking this Christmas thanks to my parents, so it's selling over here in the UK too. It looks absolutely fascinating and I look forward to reading through the book over the next few weeks.

Congratulations on the release, Jim.

I received the book as a Christmas gift. It is just beautiful. And really makes me want to get back out there chasing. Seems all I'm chasing lately are snowflakes !
