• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Hello From Kansas

Hello Scott, my name is Joey and I'm also a storm chaser living in Kansas. :D

Hey guys what a coincidence. I'm a stormchaser too. And I live in Kansas. Wow..

I hope to hang out and make lots of new friends...

Hey Scott, I'm a chaser from Oklahoma who would've been from Kansas if my grandpa wasn't transferred in 1966 :D

(Woulda grown up in Hoisington)

This is unbelievable, I too am a chaser that lives in Kansas.

I think I heard somewhere that there has been an influx of new Kansas residents that came from previous tornado hotbeds like Central Oklahoma and North Texas. The word is getting out about the exceptional quality of the tornado's in Kansas. Something about the pure air and the normal color dirt that tornado's ingest in Kansas that make them truly photogenic. I am glad to see that I am not the ONLY chaser in Kansas. I feel safer now.;)

Hello, I am also a storm chaser who lives in Kansas. Did you know our state bird is the meadowlark? The highest point in Kansas is Mount Sunflower ( 4,039 feet) which is one mile from the Colorado border in Wallace County. I wish to hike this mountain with fellow Kansas storm chasers one day, and perhaps watching a tornado climb it also.

I'm a storm chaser and hate Kansas athletic teams.

Congrats on your 1,000 post!! KS > IL

Wow...where have you guys been hiding? I have never seen another storm chaser in Kansas.

I wish to hike this mountain with fellow Kansas storm chasers one day, and perhaps watching a tornado climb it also.

On this day, we will plant a flag on the top of Mt. Sunflower and proclaim Kansas to be the TORNADO CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!!!!!
