...........THE MAIN ISSUE AFTER FRIDAY WILL BE THE POTENTIAL RETURN OF ANOTHER
HEATWAVE. MODELS ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT IN QUICKLY ALLOWING THE
MID/UPPER RIDGE TO REBUILD NORTHWARD AGAIN ONCE THE ABOVE MENTIONED
TROUGHS PASS EAST OF THE AREA...WHICH WOULD BE THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND
WITH PERHAPS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE RIDGE BEGINNING TO BREAK DOWN
BY EARLY/MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. THIS LONGWAVE PATTERN WOULD NORMALLY
BE ACCOMPANIED BY A STRENGTHENING LEE ROCKIES SURFACE TROUGH AND
INCREASING SOUTHERLY/SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW WITH A LOWER LEVEL THERMAL
RIDGE EXPANDING AHEAD OF IT...AS IT MOVES CLOSER THE FORECAST AREA.

GIVEN HOW QUICKLY TEMPERATURES REBOUNDED YESTERDAY WITH 106-108
DEGREES ACROSS NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA AND SIMILAR TEMPERATURES
TODAY...BELIEVE IT NOT TAKE LONG TO EXCEED 100 DEGREES ONCE DEEPER
MOISTURE EXITS THE REGION AND A SURFACE TROUGH DEVELOPS. THEREFORE...
WILL BE UNUSUALLY AGGRESSIVE WITH A RETURN OF A SIGNIFICANT HEAT
WAVE AND FORECAST HIGH TEMPERATURES RISING A DEGREE PER DAY
BEGINNING FRIDAY...WITH HIGHS BY EARLY/MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK SIMILAR
TO TEMPERATURES ATTAINED DURING LAST WEEK`S HEAT WAVE WHEN HUMAN
IMPACTS WERE VERY SIGNIFICANT. WILL ATTEMPT TO PROVIDE AS MUCH LEAD
TIME AS POSSIBLE AND ISSUE A SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT SHORTLY TO
HIGHLIGHT THE POTENTIAL FOR EXCESSIVE HEAT RETURNING.

Heat warnings to be posted in Chicago by Friday, well it's a good bet. Temps will be a-soaring into the mid and upper 90's, and a few of those dewpoints through evapotranspiration will be in the 80's. And I seem to remember everyone talking about a cool summer earlier this year, lol.
