Health Emergency Declared; Nagin: Thousands probably dead

Unfortunately, as we all knew it would, the death toll in New Orleans has unofficially risen into the thousands. I would be surprised if less than 5000 are dead in the Big Easy.

yeah scary stuff, they are mentioning things like cholera and typhoid...I would have to think tetanus would be an issue also
