This question was brought to my attention by my wife as we're looking at NHC forecasts regarding Gustav and Hanna.
I don't recall a "dual strike", and a quick search of the NHC FAQs doesn't answer.
If two hurricanes have hit the US within a few hours of each other, I'm guessing a scenario of one hitting somewhere toward the middle or western Gulf with a second hurricane hitting the Atlantic Coast.
Thoughts?
