I don't know about you guys, but I am excited about Accuweather taking over. Since they've developed a model that gives precise & accurate tornado warnings as much as 96 hours before NWS sees the storms form, I figure that I can dispense with all that forecasting crap & just drive to the polygon. As long as there's a Subway near by, I can hang out in that tornado warned area for a couple of days...well...as long as I remember earplugs, 'cause listening to those sirens for 96 hours straight could be rather boring & make it hard to sleep in the car.

Dear fellow chasers and weather people

I have just learned about this and I pray this is just a joke and I'm pretty sure it is but if it's not this site MUST NOT BE HANDED OVER TO ANYONE other then someone else on stormtrack who is ready and capable of assuming the rains and making this a better place to come to for all manner of weather info and other stuff. This site has been and continues to be a great resource to go to for valuable weather information and knowledge and I appreciate that greatly . I would also like to see stormtrack remain free to everyone and us not have to pay to log in or pay to use this site. Please think on this as we go forward into the weather future.
