Can't get GPS to work w/holux/MTN/SA

I can't get the GPS feature to work with MTN while using Street Atlas. I have a holux GPS and 3 usb ports on my computer. One program hoggs the GPS at a time and wont let the other use it. I trided GPS gate and couldn't figure it out. I know some of you have done this, I need help...
