6/17/09: NOW NE/KS/IA/MO/SD/TN/KY

Big tornado west of Aurora, NE right now per streams. Lots of spotter network icons right in the path of that very intense couplet. Hope people are smart here at nightfall...

Roger has it on his cam. Been flipping back and forth between TVN and Roger's stream well when the cell signal hasn't choked.

I think Jared is on the aurora storm like everyone else it seems! lol!

Still producing, very nice elephant trunk with well established debris cloud. Becoming night time now. There is a ton of people on this storm! Be safe!

I-80 must be a nightmare right now. With this storm following just north of the Interstate, the highway and the road just north of it is littered with chasers.

I cannot tell if it's still producing, too dark now. Watching for power flashes, but of course streaming cams aren't the greatest for that.

looks like the cone might be getting rain-wrapped, making it more dangerous especially at night.

ISU chasers are on the Aurora storm. Said it never was a wedge, only a cone with lots of rain bands and debris wrapping around it. Tornado apparently just roped out just west of Aurora.
