Wow, first time I've checked in here in a while, and only one post since my last! I haven't heard from Jody in about a half hour, but he's all over the OK PH storm. He still hadn't seen a tornado (which correlates with SPC reports attm), but he'd seen a funnel make it half-way down. Lots of good rotation, plenty of other chasers enjoying the show along US64/412. Storm hasn't looked as good on radar lately, as though split, and I saw two areas of rotation, but it seems to be tightening back up now.

I would agree it seems as though over the past 15 min it's getting better organized, it is moving into lower higher DP's contributing to lower LCL's and it seems it may be begining to move ever so slightly more ESE as apposed to E, which will certinly enhance the impact of the SSE surface winds. The storm further south looks good on radar, I am guessing it may be slightly high based and maybe LP as it is in lower DP air, however as it works toward Dumas and E from there it will move into a more favorable enviornment.

Jody reports that he thinks it just nadered, but he isn't sure. I guess funnel was nearly to ground; didn't see any debris. Looking great on radar now.

I guess I should specify that it's the storm WNW Guymon.

Bill Hark reported that the heavy precip cleared just long enough to reveal a rope on the ground about 5 NW of guymon, 15 minutes ago, that lasted a short time before dissipating. He'sw also reporting a big chaser convergence, including the DOWs and Phased Array group, and many many chasers.

Just a heads up to those who are continuing their night chase or even heading to the hotel for the night, Ochiltree CO TX has been under a flood warning with Law enforcemnt reporting water over many roads all day and it appears a slow moving storm is about to drop at least another inch and probably more over the already warned area, keep a heads up for washed out roads!!
