Fri thru Sun looking very interesting. Some storms could pop on the Palmer Divide Fri, and then Sat/Sun could be a good play in western KS and NE...and it looks like I may miss it all. Having oral surgery on Friday that I can't put off  . Anybody out there that can give me hope that has had 4 wisdom teeth pulled, and then been able to bounce back to chase readiness within 24-48 hours?

Good lord, if only the new nam run could be close to correct for Friday.

As for the wisdom teeth, Patrick....I had mine all done at the same time and would have been ready to go the next day. By day 3 or 4 I would have been "back down" thanks to one getting infected. It wouldn't have been bad at all had the guy stitched the one shut that he thought maybe he should at the time. Nothing beats having a big pocket of greeness back there, essentially attaching the top and bottom jaw together so you can't open more than an inch without feeling like you are going to die in pain. Best of luck!

Mike, not ready to give up just yet? Sounds like you were burned on your last chase, glad to see your fire is coming back. It should be a good weekend stormwise to get your game back on.

Wow, I have to agree Friday looks quite enticing from over here in IL. Unfortunately for me, this weekend is the final weekend I have to work in May so I'm not going to be free to roam until next week.

As for the wisdom teeth, I side with Mike. I would have been fine to chase the day after as well. I was told it varies from person to person how badly it affects them and how long they were out, but after it was all said and done with me I thought it was all very overrated as far as it being some "dreaded" procedure.

Well. I'll be setting out tomorrow for my last virtual trip till the real one. It's looking like persistent ne NM surface low induction and an open GoM are sending me to DDC on the 4th. The dryline looks to slosh for awhile around there. In fact looking out a few days further, I think I'll virtually reserve a place for Friday the 4th onward with a cancellable cheap weekly rate for the possibility I may just end up meeting myself there around the 11th.

It's nice to look a few days ahead and not see the May trainwreck yet.

AFA post-extractions are concerned, the main thing is if you can get along without the happy pills they give you for the pain. Not a good plan to be driving long distances with those in your system.

Paint me excited. Of course if the gfs has it's way that'll be further west. Either way, it's nice to see real juice and instability again, along with some shear.

Not a forecast, just an oooooh aahhhh. It seems I'm never really ready to feel that 70td air for the first time again. It often feels silly since there's already been so many chase days I've wasted before feeling it again. I get there and am like, oh yeah, this is what the air is supposed to feel like on a chase day(or even upper 60s).
