Radar showing two distinct supercells, one east of Greensburg, Kansas, and the other on the OK/KS border along I-35.

OK/KS border storm showing some decent rotation and a hook echo along I-35 near Braman, OK.

Radar showing MCS begining to take shape to the west of Wichita. Many storms on GR3 showing significant hail. Hopefully you guys can save your windshields out there!

Four to 6 inches of rain have fallen throughout Sumner (KS) and Kay (OK) along with parts of Cowley Co. There are several roads closed in these areas. In Kansas, I-35 from Belle Plaine to just south of Wellington has received very heavy rains. In Kay Co., I-35 from Mileposts 235 south to 212 is under a flash flood warning.

A flood warning has just been issued for Sedgwick Co. (KS) and there is high water in a number of a areas with rain continuing to fall.

Very large hail is indicated from near Udall (KS) hearing toward Douglass (U.S. 77).

While the tornado threat is lessening in Kansas, the trip home may be quite challenging. Watch out for flooding and hail.

Now you tell me...about ran into a very bad situation in eastern Kingman Co. around 9pm with storms firing all around at dark and heavy rain. Without radar, I had no idea of where hail was and 400 is dark as crap till you get to Goddard.
Anyway was able to get some clutch nowcasting and make it to ICT just fine, now getting back to my apt almost turned into a minor emergency.
Ridge Rd just north of Mid-Continent btwn Maple and Central has 6in of standing water. I hit it so fast I wasnt ready, I swore my engine was going to flood or I was going to be swept away just like on tv. Made it out alright and immediately phoned in report to local media and law enforcement....10 min later FFW for Sedgewick Co..hmm

DO NOT drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the roadway...where have I heard that before.

I hear ya Chris...just went out to see how bad the flooding was around here(119th and Maple) in west Wichita about an hour or so ago because its usually bad when we get this much rain, and there is water over the road at Maple between 119th and 135th. Didn't go very far but I could tell there was rushing water over 135th in several places too. Hopefully people will be careful tonight and we get a little break from the rain for awhile.

Last report apparenlty large tornado, up to a quarter mile wide, on the ground to the west of Cordell moving east. Hail over softballs in Elk City blasting through windows.

Edit - 2nd tornado on the ground right now as well around Bessie, OK north of Cordell.
