Not too much going on but a nice supercell (potentially tornadic) is heading right toward Memphis, TN. A brand new tornado has been issued to the NW of the city and the cell is heading SE. Click here for a nice streaming webcam with LTG. coming into view now.

Well, for the second time this year, Memphis has been spared as a supercell storm heads right for the city and dies as it is about to hit....

I got a couple of decent shots from my roof as this storm moved through Crittenden County, AR. Storm structure was pretty sweet, what we could see of it. Lightning was near constant as it passed through the area and moved into Memphis.

What a pleasant surprise!
