3/23/2009 NOW: SD/NE/KS/OK

Brad, yup. Spotter reporting tornado on the ground with that storm.

Should Edit: Spotter reported rotation on the ground and then it picked up.. currently looks like it's just a wall cloud now.

funnel currently reported 5 miles south of Burden in Cowley Co Ks. Storm Tor warned again

The storm on the north side of Omaha still looks pretty intense and has a decent hook. As of 5:49pm CDT the possible tornado was located about 12 miles SW of Missouri Valley, IA or about 9 miles NNW of Omaha. The storm is still moving northeast at 45mph!

Edit: The possible tornado is about 4 miles NNW of Missouri Valley, IA as of 6:08pm CDT. Spotters have now reported a tornado with this storm.

Storm nearing Nemaha Co. KS is looking great. Rotation marker and TVS on the hook.

Storm N of OKC looking beautiful on Michael Mandell's stream: here. Rotating meso/wall cloud looks tornado ready. This storm on radar loop looked like it might have latched onto a boundary of some kind, or at least tried to...

Steve Miller(tx) was streaming a beautiful wall cloud in Logan Co (NW of Guthrie, Ok.) just SW of Crescent.

As I type this they just issues a tornado warning for it.

Edit..David Drummond is now also streaming a great view of the wall cloud.

Am I seeing an anticyclonic hook right over Lawton on the Frederick radar?

EDIT: gone now. Lasted just a few minutes, but was pretty.

Impressive cell heading into Marlow..

Showing TVS and Meso on GR Level 3

I just spoke to Jason Young on the telephone. He's north of Duncan heading to Marlow to intercept.

The storm east of Lawton is looking really good now...

SVR WRN like its been all day.

Also the storms west and northwest of the Lawton storm look to be getting their act together as well.

Sure it's not too early to write off that storm near Anadarko in Grady county?
Has TVS, increasingly impressive hail core, meso markers.

Interesting that hail is only in the 1" range... The storms do seem to be fairly low centroid though. At least the one near Shawnee is. Still nice to see some supercells marching along. Spring is back!
