ESRH reaches ~200 a bit E of there, and LCL's drop. Best chance for *interesting* wx may come in an hour or so, IF the activity can get E of the CF.

I agree ... if a person can hold out on this stuff till the wind improves, there could still be a chance. Helicities were just plain cruddy to start, but would improve quite a bit if one of these cells can move right of the front a ways. The southern storm (just north of Wilber) is continuing to show signs of intensification. Hopefully one of these will get enough together to root closer to the surface. Everything is so borderline. LCLs are high, but just a bit ... it wouldn't take that much for a storm to lower.

By the way - Spotter Network shows Tony Laubach zoning in on the southern storm, and Mike Shively in great position just ahead of it.

Edit - that storm looks like it's turning right to me.

Edit no. 2 - Reed is repositioning to the southern cell now, looks like. Good choice. Definitely turning hard right.

Southern storm showing a meso now ... it still looks elevated, but I'd stick with it for sure. Hopefully this light holds out just a little while longer.

Edit - nice, that didn't last long. Looks like it's cycling now on radar. phooey

The storm W of Ft Dodge IA (entering Pocahontas cty) looks pretty intense, and parameters are impressive in that area. I'm also seeing some rotation to it. Might be the evening's first TOR soon?

It does look like the Ft. Dodge storm is beginning to show some rotation. Not that intense yet, but something to keep an eye on as this and the other storms begin to move east towards areas more conductive to strengthening. The Ft. Dodge storm is approaching an area with a Supercell Composite rating of about 12 and Sig. Tor. rating of 1.

Maybe these storms will get their act together soon as they move east?

*Edit- Like Bob said, storm doesn't look like much again. The storm just south of Omaha looks like it has been showing rotation for a while now though.
