Thought I'd start a thread for today as I've been watching the high-res models with a bit of anticipation.
Parameters for hail are what are really blowing my skirt up. I'd like to see a better shear profile, but pretty strong instability and steep lapse rates in Oklahoma are setting the foundation nicely for some big stones. We'll see what today can produce.
The 13z HR sounding forecast has the highest theoretical hail size I've ever seen, look at that! 6"! I think it's a little too excited, but still pretty cool. Sounding is for central OK btw.
