Hey everybody,
I'm looking for a chase partner for May 25 - June 1,2014. My chase partner moved away to Daytona Beach.... Guess he got lazy having to chase, so decided to move there to let the HURRICANES come to him! LOL! I'm open to males or females. If you are meteorologically or photographically talented, please hit me up. I go wherever the storms are. Will decide where the chase will lead us closer to the chase date!

You can e-mail me at [email protected]

Stormchasing

To All,

I am interested or putting the word out in being a chase partner for someone out there for the upcoming season. I am located in central OK.

Thanks,

Joshua

I am located in central AR and in search of potential chase partners. I am limited on my chase area (AR, OK, TX, MO, and potentially parts of KS). I have very limited experience with chasing, so I would prefer a veteran chaser who is willing to let me tag along or is willing to come along with me and show me the ropes. I have equipment, a car and funds available.

I should probably find someone but I'm in New York. I just went to N.C. though and stayed with a relative in Virginia. I'm like 10 hours from N.C. and central and NW Ohio, not the best location, lol. I guess I could chase hurricanes from N.C. to Maine but I prefer severe thunderstorms.

I have a couple guys I've chased with in the past, but if the logistics don't work out with that, since I'm currently in TN, I may be interested in linking up with someone. I'll be chasing April 22-27 and May 24-28. Odd dates, I know, but those are breaks from grad school. I have everything needed, and I don't have a problem teaching a beginner, though I'm not extremely experienced myself!

Hey all. This'll be my second season chasing and I'm not terribly picky on dates so long as my schedule allows. Currently based north of Denver, CO but I'll chase anywhere. I don't have much chasing experience, but I can marathon drive like there's no tomorrow and I'm a helluva navigator. Only downside is that I don't have much in the way of funding to chase though at this moment in time.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a chase partner (or two) to possibly team with consistently in the future. I've been chasing solo for years now but trying to monitor forecasting, handle video and photography, and the long drives all at the same time is getting to be a little much. Also, it's much more satisfying when you get a win you can celebrate with others. Whether I join an existing team or if you want to join me doesn't matter. I have all the equipment (I feel) that is needed for a chase setup.

I'd like my partner(s) to have some experience in forecasting to help contribute and verify, help pay for half the trip expenses, share drive time, and live reasonably close to OKC because there are times if the chase is within a couple of hours I will just leave work early instead of taking the day off (saves vacation time). Must be willing to chase surrounding OK states, as well as further north on higher risk or weekend setups. I chase the whole season we'll be as busy as the season allows.

I know this is a bit to ask, but like I said I am looking for full time partners who love to chase and by help sharing the load I can enjoy it more too. Feel free to check out my work at my website, and send me a PM if interested.

Sean

Anyone local in the Norman area looking to chase on Wednesday and share expenses that day please message me. I will get back to you by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks

Hello, looking for someone to tag along with for a few chases. Recently became a father. Mom (driver when in vicinity of severe weather) will be staying home this year. I don't like to chase alone. Already risky enough out there. Willing to pay for gas the entirety of the chase (one vehicle). Don't want to be away from my boy more then a couple of days. Currently residing in Cedar Rapids, IA. PM here or on my twitter/FB/Vine/Youtube accounts if interested. Also, can find more details about my experiences & adventures thus far on those accounts. Sure I don't have to tell you how much it would mean to me. We all have the passion and I don't want to miss a season. Believe DR. P called it "SDS".

Thanks, Alex Heimberger

Late May and June chasers wanted...

Starting in mid to late May, I'm hoping to do some storm chasing. I'll be starting in Louisiana but will have my van and can go just about anywhere. I'll be available for weeks or months depending on the situation (and how much we can keep expenses down). If I find someone (or more than one) who wants to spend the whole time chasing, great, but I'm also open to meeting up with people for a few days here and a few days there, etc.

I have a van that old enough that I don't care if it gets hail dinged. Or I'm willing to join you in your vehicle. I'm happy being primary driver so you can look around and watch electronics but would expect to switch off if necessary.

I have no experience chasing but would love to learn and since I'm not from the midwest but will be in Louisiana in May, this seems like my best opportunity to get in some chase experience.

I'll be out in the Plains from May 16th through the 26th. Due to problems with my car I'm going to need a chase partner to ride along with. I'll be more than willing to split gas and hotel expenses with anyone willing to help me out. Wherever it is on the Plains I'll meet up with you. If anyone can help me out my email address is [email protected] or if you are friends with me on FB send me a PM or send a message to my inbox.

Chase Tuotor

I was wondering if it is possible to find a chasing tutor to teach me the basics of storm chasing knowledge? It would be extremely helpful:) Im live in Chicago Illinois, so is there anyone available to teach me?
Thanks so much guys!

Truman Boyer here.
Leaving from Maryland
Free to chase Mid-End of May (17-31?)

Highly experienced. Chasing since '86, on the Plains since '96.
I Learned from some of the best.
I can get you to the good storms, and usually I get there early.

I can fly out to meet up, or ride out with someone from East Coast.
My ride is too small for 2 people, but I will drive myself out there
if I can't find a partner willing to take me along.

I am an excellent long distance driver, good mechanic, navigator, etc.
Very handy to have around. Easy to get along with.

I can share expenses on the road, but would like it if you could host me on the down days.
(I'd rather spend money on gas than hotels).

I don't need more than a floor to sleep on, and I won't be under foot during the daytime.

Camping, sleeping in cars, roughing it is fine with me if that is how you roll.
(The mission comes first !)

I don't smoke anymore, but I don't care if you do.

PM me if interested of have any questions.

Hello All!

My name is Eric McAuliffe and i'm currently in Dodge City Ks. I travel all over midwest servicing turbines in the summer, and have recently been intrigued by the awesome/scary storms that are produced here. I'm from Lake Tahoe CA, and have been flying paragliders and kiteboarding for a few years, so my weather knowledge is fairly basic. I would love to join up with anyone willing to have a total NOOB tag along, I'll bring the beer I'm willing to pitch in on fuel, provide my stellar driving skills, and maybe even some navigating or whatever help i can be to the team. I'm planning on heading south towards Woodward OK today solo, as the discussion and some parameters are suggesting better strong supercell development to the south where the Td will be higher.

Cheers and happy chasing!!!

Feel free to contact me if you are in the field in SW Kansas today or in the next 3 weeks. 209-five5nine-908nine
