I'm starting to take a lot of interest in this day as we get closer and the NAM/GFS/and EC start to come into agreement a bit better on placement and timing. In SE NE modest moisture return should see surface Tds near 60 and some decent pockets of 0-1 SRH and decent vorticity maxes in the exit region of a NW H5 jet. Added to that a LLJ that seems to maintain its southerly flow well into midday and early afternoon should see a bit better return of moisture and better destabilization. I am a bit concerned with the strength of the upper level support which seems to be lacking, but directional shear and OAX soundings look pretty phenominal. Could be a little sleeper day and hopefully will keep the crowds down.

Thoughts?
