Gotta question. Are there any tours out there that allow tagalongs? I have my own vehicle and would like to see some activity but don't want to be stuck in a cramped vehicle with a bunch of people. However, this is my first trip and don't have the knowledge of the area. And I'm much more comfortable when I'm in control of my vehicle....

I believe Dean Cosgrove offers tag along tours. It's the best way to do a tour IMO because you can sign up when there's actually going to be a big event. If you RSVP on another tour based on their scheduling, you could get stuck in a dry spell and not see anything.

Chasers around the Northeastern Oklahoma area.

Recently I was in a car wreck and have no vehicle. I am willing to split gas evenly for anyone who wishes to pick me up to go on any chases. I can assist in forecasting, directions and any other tasks needed. I just hate thinking I am going to have to sit around carless while my storm season widdles away. So just keep in mind if you are on I-44 in NE OK and want to lessen the gas expenses you can pick up another chaser who has a few tornadoes under his belt. Im a 21 year old male and very easy going. PM please. I may even be able to meet with you, but fear I can not get a ride all the way to places like Tulsa. Here is my trailblazer, this happened Friday. I am a photographer So I will be bringing a backpack of equipment. I can buy dinners as well...

Looking for a chase partner to ride along with myself, Rich & Ryan Thies...there is one extra seat open. Both Sat. 4/9 and Sun 4/10 will be chased. Will depart from KC area sat. morning and get back to KC very late Sunday night. Any replies need to be serious locks...and will need to know by tomorrow morning (Friday) by 11am. We will need some $$$ contribution for gas expense and a possible overnight motel stay Sat. night to get into position for the Iowa or possibly S.Minnesota chase on Sunday 4/10...one that should fall into a HIGH risk or strongly worded MODERATE risk...a fast n furious chase for sure. I'm in Ames IA wanting to tag along on Saturday/Sunday, 4-9-11& 4-10-11, for a chase in IA. Ames is smack in the middle of both SPC outlooks. Saturday the risk is just to the west and Sunday the risk is just to the east. I will gladly split gas with anyone with open seats and being able to return me back to Ames by 10pm both nights. I can provide gear: phone/laptop/radar/camera/tripod/police scanner/weather radio....

I've decided to head out to the plains for a short trip this season, last week of April. Will be leaving NC the day after Easter (Monday) and plan to arrive in central OK around noon Tuesday. Planning on heading to OKC for day 1, or another area depending on storms or passenger location. Will be staying until Friday or Saturday, can possibly add a day or 2 at the end depending on the occurrence of promising storms. This will be my first time chasing on the plains, and I find myself lacking fellow adventurers. I wouldn't mind a tag along with hopefully some experience to help with forecasting, navigation, cost sharing, extra set of eyes, maybe help drive, etc. I'll have a laptop running GRLevel3 with internet access through my phone, Sprint service with EVO 4G tethered, state maps, weather radio, etc. I'll be in a Honda Element, so there will be plenty of room for myself plus 1-2 additions and equipment.

About me, I'm 30, married with 2 kids. Smoking doesn't really bother me if you need to. I'm pretty laid back and can get along with most people. I'm clean, so no worries about riding with somebody that doesn't shower. I'd hope anybody considering riding with me is the same way. I listen to a variety of music, mostly rock though. I also just like to ride down the road with the windows down and the radio off on occasion. I can get hyped about storms just like anybody else, but still keep my wits and use common sense. Don't mind getting fairly close, but don't want to get in a dangerous situation either. If using my vehicle, I'd rather avoid muddy roads because I don't care to get stuck. I don't plan on core punching either because I'd like to keep my windows if possible. lol Primary interest for storm chasing is photography/video. I have decent experience chasing locally, and have chased the rare supercell in NC.

I'll even consider meeting up and riding with some body as well and split cost, as long as I can leave my vehicle in a secure place.

im in the colorado springs area. i have met a few southern colorado chasers over the last few years. i am getting out more this season and would like to see if anyone new would like to team up. this includes any "former" chase partners i have had over the last 2 yrs . i have room for up to 4 others in my truck. im looking at possibly may or june for a longer chase but any local colorado chases on a sat and sun would be available too.

This might be a long shot, but I'm looking for anyone near Austin, TX who is an active chaser. I recently lost my car and cannot afford a new one. I'm DESPERATE to get out and chase this spring.

Looking at tomorrows forecast in west OK is killing me. I need storms.

I am in Indianapolis, he is in Monticello, IL, so chances are we'll meet up in Illinois, assuming there will be storms in the plains.
