2 reports of tornadoes. A mobile home was destroyed likely from a tornado near Lawtell, La. Also KATC TV3 Meterologist in Lafayette recieved reports of a tornado crossing HWY 90 just south and east of New Iberia.

Wow that is horrible... so it hit a mobile home park??? They dont have basements down, too close to the coast. Alot of people from that state have died in the last 2 yrs due to weather related events. I said this was one to watch 4 days ago when it was developing over Mexico. Watch this system evolve. This will be 3 consecutive strong systems to hit the US. I cant believe how much rain is falling too.

The deadly New Iberia tornado has been assigned a preliminary rating of F1 by the NWS assessment team.
