The Bison, KS (May 25th) meso/wall cloud was one of the best I've seen all year, but I think the forum has been fairly saturated with pictures of that one...
Here are a few other of my top wall cloud pics:
(05/28/08: 7 S of Cheyenne Wells, CO - Wall cloud on LP Supercell, looking N)
(05/29/08: 8 SSE of Elm Creek, NE - Rapidly rotating wall cloud, looking W)
(06/26/08: 2 N of Glen Ullin, ND - Blocky wall cloud on severe storm, looking WSW)
Thank you very much for the comment. Actually, I have to thank Jay McCoy for spotting a big hill with a dirt road. We drove on top of it, and as you can see, we could see for miles.
This is from 6-12-08. It was in IL near the Iowa border. This area was tornado warned. I followed a nice Indian brother and sister pair that was chasing this storm too. The brother was from Chicago and the sister was from India. Had I gone straight instead of turning right (like my gut instinct was telling me to do), I would have caught a nice tornado. Sigh.
Here is a little gem I caught coming back from chasing the storm above. It is near Andover IL.
