4/7 in Archer County, TX. What I wasn't able to capture was all of the corkscrewing mid level bands above us spiriling into this.

This storm was absolutely amazing. i have a timelapse of this storm followed by cows and Bart Comstock yelling at each other. enjoy.

This is actually a video still but it is hands down the best structure Ive seen. From the Chicago burbs on 6/7/08

This storm, viewed from west of Glasgow, IL on May 30, was probably the best structure:

The haze made it hard to photograph, but the "mothership" structure was awesome. The storm had just produced a tornado a few minutes earlier when the above picture was taken.

I also like this one, from south of Bowling Green, MO on June 3:

Finally, the wall cloud associated with the tornado northwest of Danvers, IL on June 4 was also quite impressive:

The picture above was taken during the multiple-vortex phase of the tornado. The wall cloud had more of a striated, mothership look to it at this time than earlier during the tornado - or maybe the light was just better to see it (though it was pretty limited throughout the tornado, which occurred right around sunset).

My favorite structure of the year was the Gridley IL storm.

Nice updraft and beaver tail.
