Weather Model Terms /Symbols

Hey Chasers,

I have a few questions about some of the models I look at. I am still in learning mode, but I want to know it all. Below are a few questions and links that corispond to my questions.

1. On this 500 vort page. What does the colors mean? i see the legend at the bottom of the page but I don;t know what they represent.

2. What does Td mean on the dewpoint models?

3. Any links that might help me to learn to read these more accurately??
