Walmart $298 laptop

No computer dork speak here, I don't know all that stuff. I do know that I got my wife's laptop at BestBuy for $398. I totally hate best buy customer service and absolutely refused for the "Geek Squad" to even open the box, but it was a smokin fast Toshiba laptop for 400 bucks. I would be heading that way if I needed a new one. Not Wally World.

Wow, Packard Bell. Those were the first 2 pc's my parents owned. The first one wasn't able to get on the internet and the second one was an equal piece if junk but was able to get online. I have never heard anything good about emachines. My thoughts are you get what you pay for.

I grabbed one a bit ago at Walmart $298 because the price was good, I never liked an emachines computer as they were sold but they did better if you added enough memory to actually run them. They appear to be made by Acer now?? Hopefully this 64 bit works better than Acer 64 bit Vista machines did.

Packard Bells are classics. I used to have one myself. I used to use a Comodore 64 aswell. That makes me feel old.

So far I am impressed with it's speed. I was thinking it might be doggy but its pretty snappy. I am using it while I redo my main computer as my Windows 7 expired on it.
