Thunderstorms possible in parts of Iowa Friday!

There now is a chance of thunderstorms in my area (Eastern Iowa) during Friday afternoon, though they are expected not to be severe. Here is a link to the Desmoines NWS for more information:

Thunderstorms Possible

It's probably a little too early for anything severe in this part of the midwest. I live a ways south of your location in the KC metro area, and I'm still waiting for the first severe weather day here...I hope we have an early season this year.

Its never "too early" Central Illinois had severe thunderstorms on January 16th (I think). Was also an F1 tornado reported in southern Illinois.
