I am wondering how wide a range of temperature extremes any of you have experienced in different years on the same date. :?: As of today, my range between extremes is 110 degrees F. Today in Edwardsville, IL, it was 76 - also the high in STL (2 degrees short of a record). On this date in 1962 (when I was in the 7th grade) I went to school in Waterloo, IA in a temperature of -34, which tied the all-time record low for any date in Waterloo. That makes a range of temperatures experienced, on the same date, of 110! Can anyone top that? (I'll make it easy, the date doesn't even have to be March 1.)
