I did get a radar image off NWS Omaha's site during 5-22-2004 of the storm that struck Hallam, Nebraska at about 8:30 PM that evening. The image is below...
This massive HP monster also had an "eye" too, and this is NOT the center of the Hallam 2.5 mile wide tornado, but the old occuded meso behind it still spinning viciously (with a 169 knot shear circle according to Barons WX Worx)!
The "eye-like" feature of lessened reflectivity (occluded BWER) is just to the right of Crete in the image...
...The actual tornado (just before hitting Hallam and NE of Wilbur) is the little "hook" below the "eye-like" feature of the supercell core.
I called this image the "Hallam Nebraska 'Tornadocane'"!
