We are now facing the worst flooding in 25 years in the region where I live here in South America. I remember that someone posted earlier this year in this forum that there could be a relationship bewtween floodings and severe weather with the tremendous moisture available from the ground. I presume this is merely observational, but does anyone know any paper on this or have information on that matter ?
