Sat loop of entire hurricane season...plains as well

I caught this in a tweet from Tim Brice, at the El Paso NWS I believe. It's a pretty cool satellite loop of the entire hurricane season. It shows a good deal of CONUS as well, so you can see the action from above on your favorite storm day this past season.

That's awesome! I played June 10th over a number of times - very easy to see the line of cells blow up over the front range and then die off after sunset.

I found myself doing the same, Verne. One thing I noted is how insignificant land-events are on the planetary scale. Shame this image didn't go back a month or 2 earlier.
