RUC Surface Analysis "Bugs"?

Not sure if anyone else noticed this but it appears the RUC surface forecast (analysis) plot is messed up...

Funny as this was like this for a few days in a row (computer bugs).

Those are some intense fronts Yeah UCAR's surface analysis plots are messed up as well.

Given the number of cold fronts along the northern portion of the map, I could agree with you Andy. Strangely though, some of the cold fronts are facing the wrong way. That and, with a warm front crossing a cold front, apparently there is a mass of cold air colocated with a mass of warm air. Sounds like some people just can't come to an agreement on such a relative/subjective analysis.

Seems like something was converted wrong from the NCEP frontal analysis. The RUC itself is fine, and the fronts are fine.
