Have you tried ABC gum? But seriously I tried the Velcro route for a few seasons and found that it would always at one point or another become in effective on very hot days. The adhesive just melts and either fries to the dash or losses it's stickiness or runs on the dash. I finally decided that the reason I bought my jeep was for chasing so I don't care too much if I have holes in my dash. I also had a black leather interior on a black car so that probably didn't help either.
