I'll be there. Glad to see Tim as the keynote. I'll sit through the banquet dinner for that one.
I sure hope Josh W. is on the agenda again so he can explain to all of us why he threw us under the bus this last spring. Any word on his commitment to speak?

Thinking about it....it would be interesting to see if he even showed up this year....if he was so mad a chasers.

I am considering going. Is there a benefit for a newbie such as myself to go?

I'm dying to take Vasquez' class on Friday night! Plus, Tim Marshall's talk and listening to all the other speakers definitely sounds like a great way to spend my weekend!

Not to mention, I want to meet some of you guys! :) Oh and skiing.. I think there will be skiing!

I highly recommend going to the convention. There is a nice mix of newer and more experienced chasers and it is a great way to learn and meet people. The organizers always manage to have a nice mix of lectures that are understandable to those with varying amounts of experience. If you can take Tim V's class, definitely go for it. I don't know how many people he can take as it could fill. I have always had a great time. Below is a link to some pics I took of the 2008 convention.

Just a quick record of votes so far. Like last year....Probably in January, I'll do a second poll to reflect the difference....as folks will most likely know for sure what they are doing for the conference. Like I put that I had no idea. Now looking more like (and almost expected) that I will not be attending.

Tim V's class...highly reccomend
Tim Marshall's Talk....Not to be missed!

For all the skiers, riders, and snowmobilers on the board, Denver has only had a tick over an inch of snow (normal for Nov is approx 11 inches), but the central and northern mountains (where all the ski areas are) have been getting dumped on with snow. Snowpack is more than 150% of average. It shaping up to be an epic winter in the CO high country.

Good day all,

...Now looking more like (and almost expected) that I will not be attending.

Last year I went because a buddy of mine from Florida wanted to see mountains / snow / ski / Colorado, so that pushed me into going. Also, I was working full-time (a mere week before getting canned).

I would like to go but I see that nearly all my immediate chase partners / friends are NOT going. I may stand down this year as well, especially is the possibility of splitting rooms / rentals is eliminated by me going solo. Also my chase buddies always got a snow-mobiline "trip" together as well - Another "push" for me to go.

We'll see ... As it depends on how much it will "munch out" my chase funds for 2011.

Jennifer, I have too agree with all the others...Tim Marshall's presentations are a MUST SEE. And one year I will take Tim's class. ;) It's a cool event, if you can make it.

Well, with some chase buddies of mine GOING, I decided to book airline tickets and register, so count me IN.

I look forward to seeing you all out there, Tim M's stuff (and many others), video night (editing), and such!

I'm coming in Thursday night, so Friday will be the mountains, even a snow-mobiling trip (?) ... Then break the ice and enjoy 250+ storm chasers for a couple of days!

I am planning on attending this year. I'm local but live far enough away (Estes Park, CO) that I would prefer to stay at the hotel. If anyone is interested in sharing room and its cost, please PM me.

Thanks.
