ChaserCon 2013 (National Storm Chaser Convention) in Denver

Looks like it's going to be a great line-up this year. Wish I could go...maybe next time. Using funds for equipment & first aid/cert classes. Does anyone know if they're going to be streaming the convention online? It was nice to watch from home last year.

ChaserCon currently being streamed.....

Scroll about 2/3 down the main page. Haven't seen this posted....

Sorry to resurrect this one so long after the fact. (Been busy at work since I returned.)

Did anybody attending happen to catch the URL for Dr. Lyon's website? (He was the lightning, sprite, halo, jet, etc researcher.) I stared to write it down, but it was so long I ran out of time before the slide changed.

Jeff Hawkins, great to see you there again. Chris Collura, awesome video you submitted for video night. Great job! Hope to see a few more Stormtrack members there next year. Jeez, what a secretive bunch we are. Is everybody wanted by the law? ;)

Dr. Lyon's talk on sprites was my favorite talk of the convention. That stuff is fascinating, and lots of great info and media in that presentation. My favorite part of the convention was probably just being able to listen in as the more experienced chasers told stories of past times, like Tim Marshall and Tim Samaras talking about past chases and chasercons. It was great seeing and meeting everybody, but would have liked to meet more of you. The Storm Assist booth was a big success, and I think we'll be well prepared to give aid coming into the spring severe weather season. Many thanks to Tim Samaras and Jen Casey for making the Storm Assist booth possible and getting us organized for the event.

Tim Marshall always puts on a great show:

And of course good times partying it up a little, with even some gangnam style:

I just wanted to say that my girlfriend and I had a great time. It was our 2nd year attending, and this year we actually left a vacation with her family in Key West a bit early to attend (will probably owe her for awhile :) ). Just wanted to thank everyone for a great time & an informative event!
