If you'll read the earlier posts, he stated that he has moved the radar images around so you can't guess based on location alone.
That's correct, I purposely moved these so that you can't guess the date based off of the location of the event.
Sorry, Andrew, but that is the wrong date.

I must've picked a good one finally. Okay, a few hints. 1) A storm in this image is about to produce an EF-1 tornado that will be on the ground for over 20 miles. 2) The radar image is in superres.

No correct guesses yet, so here are more hints: 1) More than one person has guessed the right year, and 2) If this map were moved back to the correct radar site, my hometown of Marion, IA would be very near the tip of the line near the center of the image.
