Actually I never asked about any specific settings... but at this point I regret I even wrote the simple question I did. I guess people blowing through replies and not taking the time to read and understand them is the way things are nowadays.

I'll refrain from ever asking questions of you again, now that I see how you think. My apologies... perhaps its just carry over from the photography forum I frequent, where discussion of what, why, how, etc.. is *sometimes* as enjoyable as getting out and shooting... but obviously that doesn't apply to everyone.

Nice images though... and I do enjoy your composition and post-processing work.

Is it a steam devil when the entire vortex condenses, or does a poof/swirl of steam on the surface of the lake count?
