Is anyone aware of semi-experienced chasers in the Golden Triangle area or Tuscaloosa, AL that is looking for chase partners this spring/summer? I'm capable of equipment such as a laptop, cameras, and live streaming software. Takers?

Here are my requirements: You provide a reliable car, I buy the gas, food, snacks, etc. I prefer that you drive. I've been chasing for the past 15 years or so. I have a considerable understanding of severe weather, member of Stormtrack.org, certified NWS storm spotter. I have a 16 GB 720p HD camera and a mobile NOAA weather radio. Do you have a reasonable understanding of meteorology, especially when it comes to severe weather? I don't take unnecessary chances. The most dangerous aspects of chasing are (1) Driving, (2) Lightning, and (3) Tornadoes, some strong to violent and possibly long-tracked.

An outbreak is possible and would most likely start in the southern Plains and continue into the Tennessee Valley. Models vary widely in regards to timing, location and duration. I can't even give an estimated time that such an outbreak initiatiation could occur.
