So spotter network is still broken, in terms of having the ability to reset your password. When prompted, after entering the email it just loops back and does nothing. Not once have I ever received a email. I'm thankful for spotter network having been a member for years upon years but it's frustrating to have such little response and support for a important and vital piece for storms chasers to use to get dire information in quickly. Any help would be appreciated as I'm basically out of ideas at this point .

Atreyu,
I'm not sure how much time it will take. Admins for these sites tend to become difficult to reach during the cold season, and especially considering it is the holidays, you may need to wait for a while before John sees this and comes around. I myself have no authority over anything at SpotterNetwork, and the choice to combine the SN forums with ST was performed before I took control of the board. I don't actually have any direct contact with John Wetter or anyone else at SN.

I do hope your issue is able to be settled soon, though. Hate to see a user not able to participate when they want to.

This is getting frustrating. Just because he lives in Minnesota doesn't mean the rest of the world is excluded from Severe weather.
I live in Mississippi and this happens to be one of our busiest times of the year for severe weather.

I intercepted an EF3 tornado last weekend in Bude MS and nobody could track me nor could I report anything.
We need a new spotter tracking application if he's not going to support it properly.

Can't say forsure on this one, but considering the number of posts I've seen here about this issue...

This is based on similar things I've seen crop up on other sites:

The problem isn't on the receiving end, its on the sending end: the reset password (or any other) emails are simply not being sent to begin with.
Either something is mis-configured on the SN system -or- more likely since it used to work, the web hosting company upgraded "software" on their server, causing the SN script/software to no longer function. Most likely it needs upgraded to be compatible with the web hosting, but could also simply need re-configuring. There are probably error-logs that an admin there should be able to look at to help find the issue.
