Impressive OK temperature differences

For those who like extremes, there is currently an impressive difference in current temperatures over the state of Oklahoma. Check out the Mesonet:

Areas of the Oklahoma Panhanle report a temperature of 44oF, while in extreme southern Oklahoma the temperatures are currently reading 88oF - that's a difference of 44oF.

Yes - that kind of temperature variety never occurs in the UK.
