Thanks for the update Carey... I couldn't remember what the output level was on low for a 2100H...

I think I might try to pick up one of those radios pretty soon.. I have always liked them since they came out.

Right now I'm running a Radio Shack HTX-242 with modified Extended Transmit (Used legally by me since I now work law enforcement)

Still use the 2m as well. have had my license for over 12 years now.

Technically you could still get hammered for using the HTX-242 outside the ham bands. As far as I recall that radio is only part 97 certified. Part 90 use would illegal no matter whether you are in Law Enforcement or not.
