• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Great storm structures YOU have seen/photographed

June 13, 2000 was the first date that came to mind when I saw this thread. Man what a great structure day. Too bad I only had a camcorder back then.

Here is an awsome one, from this years chase season. It was in SC OK, during a huge squall line event, the shelf cloud had the greatest structure, and was right overhead. I had never seen so many eddies, as there were embedded in this one.

I am beginning to realize this was not an ordinary chase... LOL.. unfortunately I realized it about 9 months later!
This is of Stoughton WI Aug 18 2005. I took off from work early to get up there. I live in NE IL. If I knew then what I know now... and I still know squat!
At this point- per time stamps on the GPS, camera, and GRLevel 3, I was 4.1 miles away from an F3. I was due east of the storm.

This was taken over Lake Michigan at Ft Sheridan on July 25, 2005.

This was this year... Mertzon TX May 04 about an hour or so before she dropped 3.9" hail on that town.

This was outside of Halls Summit KS May 18, 2005.

Those are a few.....

I know I already posted to this thread earlier on, but what I posted just isn't my best anymore :) The storms in Ontario cannot compare to those of the plains. Don't get me wrong though, the June 14 2004 storm in Ontario was pretty good for my neck of the woods.

These are only just a select few of the many images I plan to put up on my website.

The tornado grew wider as shown in this vid cap, a few seconds later. It was on the ground for a minute or so, before getting rain wrapped.

Woops. I need to post some of my favorite.
Here you go.
Great to see everyone else images,

Pictures from Texas trip with Doug Raflik and I and the great Wallcloud and more 2002 June . A great beaverail came down (see (upper left). The storm on the right was an approaching hailstorm.
