Fabian Guerra - ST Member

I recall Fabian from the illinoischaserlist and though we never really talked, I wish we would have. I remember him as being incredibly intelligent and extremely loyal to those for whom he associated with. Our thoughts are with all of you who were close to him as well as family at this time.

My thoughts and prayers to Fabian's friends and family.

Horrible news. Chased with him for a week, late May in 2007.

Please extend my condolences to his family and friends. So sorry to read the news -

I chased with Fabian for a week and a half in late May 2006. He was a great person to chase with and ever-optimistic about some less than optimal setups we had during that time. My prayers are with his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Darrin and Craig, I hope you get a big one today.

I just learned of this over the weekend -- this is sad news and it's deplorable that we've lost yet another one of our own. I hope we can get updated on whether his family is making it through this ok; I can't imagine how this must be for them.

As with Jeff Wear's death four years ago, it's yet another reminder that we have just as much to fear from hazards away from the storm as underneath it.

I met Fabian a couple of times, once for the great cap bust in SE Nebraska in 2005 and another the night of the Greensburg tornado when he, Dan Robinson and Craig Maire pulled up behind us after it had struck a surviving victim's home. I also used to chat with him quite a bit in the old mirc chatroom about upcoming chases. He was a genuinely nice guy, what a horrible thing to happen to a great person. My condolences to his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers also go out to his family. I did not know Fabian, but I had seen his posts on Stormtrack. It is a reminder to all of us how careful we need to be when travelling to and from storms, or anytime. I have always told people who ask me of the dangers of stormchasing, that the biggest danger is the driving. It's very sad.---Rick
