End of Summer/Fall chasing

I was wondering how many of you chase in September-November. Looking at this chart http://spc.noaa.gov/climo/torn/monthlytornstats.html there are a lot of tornadoes in September and again in November. My feeling is that some of the same conditions exist in September as they do in May. Thoughts and suggested taret areas that time of year...

Yes, there are a lot of tornadoes but many of those are spin-ups from tropical systems, hard to see but may still be worth chasing since there usually isn't much else going on. It will be interesting to see if chasers equiped with XM will have success chasing these elusive tornadoes. Sometimes there is a week of tornado possibilities across the Plains.

I'm a chaser, so I'm always watchful during that time, but rarely hopeful. I've had a few awesome chase days in October, but in reality, those aren't something to count on every season. I always expect at least one opportunity during the Fall season, but rarely do I expect a significant tornado event.

However, when the occasional Fall event does come around, they are pretty spectacular:

A few states, in the southeast, from what I have read, do have a fall season.
