Close Range Strike!

May 23, 2020 - we chased the heck out of storms across northern Illinois, and although we didn't come up with a tornado, one particular lightning strike jolted our cameras while we recorded things to our west. Amazingly, the dashcam captured the strike, not very far off our nose. It cemented lightning as one of the scariest things to deal with while chasing. Also... I hope that pickup had its windows shut!
