Atlantic: Tropical Storm Arthur forms

The NHC have now issued advisories on the first 2008 Atlantic named storm (Arthur) - I expect this system to be brief as it interacts with land almost immediately but some models suggest now that the low centre of this storm will re intensify as it moves back over water in the Bay of Campeche.

So this storm was named over land ?Strange that the NRL pulled it off the site this morning after it made landfall then added it back and now as a tropical storm. I realize that we have new director at the NHC but this is a little strange to say the least but still a nice start to the 2008 atlantic season
