Trying to reposition to Craig, IA. Heading south on HGWY 75 and then will take SR-10 to intercept cell that is moving NE out of Akron, IA. TVS markers and Meso marker on GRLevel3. Live ChaseCam is up and running.
Lots of scud, some hanging down crap near Sioux Center.

Just got back from a mini chase.Stormweather warning on radio as I took off on the highway 35. It was for Johnson County so I decided to go north and shoot back instead of going to Wyandotte county and Speedway which was targeted. Overland Park and Olathe had heavy rain ,no hail, not , much wind in the way of gusts. . It was over and went through by 4:45.
Got come groceries and headed home to make a Tamle Pie with turkey burger and using cornmeal .

On Tornado warned cell in Plymouth County, IA. Had funnel extending 1/2 the way to the ground at one point. Continuing to follow cell. ChaseCam still up and running. Blog entries at www.severestudios.com

Three miles north of Oyens, IA. 50+ MPH winds and very heavy rain. Heading North attempting to head home.
Tornado warning allowed to expire for Plymouth County, IA. Cluster of storms producing heavy rain. Low visiblity and no hail. Other chasers on storms southeast of us. Calling off chase do to sun setting and low visibility. Heading back to Mitchell, SD. We will keep ChaseCam up showing storms as we drive home through the mess. Good luck to all the other chasers. Drive safe everyone.
Still lots of severe warned cells. We will continue to report anything that we see on the way back to SD.

Several tornado warnings in north west and east central Iowa. Can anyone confirm a tornado is with any of these storms?
Looking at the spotternetwork.org placefile it looks like there are a couple reports of funnels, but nothing confirmed touching down so far...

Yes...check the LSRs from DMX. Lynnville, IA got hit, and is in the path of another tornadic storm.
