I've just relocated to Ohio this spring and its been a more active season around these parts than I ever remember living in the Chicago area. The line of cells that traversed central Ohio yesterday ramped up just as they hit my area.
Does anyone have Level 2 data from the cell that passed through Wayne County from about 21:16-21:50Z?? We have a long and narrow damage path starting about 1/4 mile from my front yard. I've been trying to get a hold of KCLE as it appears there was no report, but their phones are swamped as you can imagine. I've fairly certain this will result in a EF0-EF1 confirmation.
Going out to get better damage shots today. I followed the path last night a couple miles, but down power lines and trees prevented me from seeing the rest. I couldn't chase during the event because my wife had the car, but from the front yard I could see debris aloft and around 5 power flashes. I also noticed that the sound was very distinct almost like heavy equipment operating. I've never heard that in all my years on the plains, maybe I've just never been this close before.
This is the neighbor's yard, damage was very linear and only about 20 yards across.
