That looked like a direct hit, not a near miss.

That WAS a direct hit, no question, although the center of the vortex appeared to pass just to his left, maybe his neighbors' house took the direct centroid of the vortex hit. That looks like EF-1 strength and damage. If that were any stronger, that video may have only made it out posthumously on YouTube...

Interesting to see the powerlines/poles survived while the trees and some sort of shed/small structure get obliterated.

Maybe their standards for electrical line contruction should be implimented in Kansas Although Kansas obviously gets stronger naders.
